Ingredients

  • 4salmon fillets (6 ounces each, skin-on)
  • 3 tablespoonsoy sauce
  • 2 tablespoonhoney
  • 1 tablespoonrice vinegar
  • 2 clovesgarlic
  • 1 tablespoonginger
  • 1 tablespoonolive oil
  • 1 teaspoonsesame seeds
  • 2green onion

Prep

    Mince 2 cloves garlic.

    Mince 1 tablespoon fresh ginger.

    Slice 2 green onions.

Method

    Preheat oven to 400°F.

    In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and minced ginger until smooth.

    Place salmon fillets skin-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

    Spoon the glaze over each fillet, dividing evenly.

    Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Spice Tips

For a kick of heat, add 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes to the glaze or a drizzle of sriracha on top after baking. A squeeze of fresh lime juice brightens the finish.
