In a medium bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup ketchup, and 2 tablespoons buttermilk until smooth and well combined.

  2. 02

Add 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon hot sauce, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon paprika, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper. Whisk until all spices are fully incorporated.

Spice Tips

For more heat, increase hot sauce to 1 teaspoon or add a pinch of cayenne pepper. A dash of smoked paprika in place of regular paprika adds depth. Fresh herbs like chopped dill or chives can brighten the flavor if you have them on hand.

Sauce keeps refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Perfect for fried chicken, burgers, seafood, or as a salad dressing. Thin with additional buttermilk if you prefer a pourable consistency.
