Pan-Seared Salmon with Charred Broccolini and Lemon Butter
Ingredients
- 4 fillets (6 oz each)salmon fillets (skin-on)
- 1 poundbroccolini
- 3 tablespoonbutter
- 1lemon
- 3 clovesgarlic
- 2 tablespoonolive oil

Mince 3 cloves garlic.

Cut 1 lemon in half.

Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, place salmon skin-side up and sear for 4 minutes without moving. Flip and cook 3 more minutes until skin is crispy. Transfer to a plate.

Add remaining 1 tablespoon oil to the pan. Add broccolini in a single layer, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 4 minutes without stirring until charred underneath.

Stir broccolini, add minced garlic, and cook 2 minutes until fragrant.

Return salmon to the pan skin-side down. Add butter and squeeze lemon juice over everything. Cook for 2 minutes until butter melts and salmon is cooked through.

Spice Tips
For depth, add 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika with the garlic. A pinch of red pepper flakes adds gentle heat. Fresh dill or chives sprinkled at the end brighten the dish.
