Turkish-Spiced Ground Turkey with Roasted Peppers and Feta
Ingredients
- 1½ poundsground turkey
- 2red bell pepper
- 1yellow bell pepper
- 1 mediumred onion
- 3 clovesgarlic

- ¾ teaspoonsmoked paprika

- ¾ cupfeta cheese

Core and dice 2 red bell peppers and 1 yellow bell pepper into 1-inch pieces.

Dice 1 medium red onion.

Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add ground turkey and cook for 5–6 minutes, breaking it into small pieces as it browns, until no pink remains. Drain excess fat if needed.

Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in cumin, smoked paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute.

Add diced bell peppers and diced red onion. Stir well and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until peppers are tender and lightly caramelized.

Top with crumbled feta cheese and fresh parsley. Serve warm directly from the pan or in bowls.
Spice Tips
For deeper warmth, increase cinnamon to 1/2 teaspoon or add a pinch of cayenne. A squeeze of fresh lemon juice brightens the finish.
Serve over rice, couscous, or with warm pita bread. Leftovers keep refrigerated for 3 days and reheat well.
