Garlicky Shrimp and Egg Noodle Skillet
Ingredients
- 1 poundlarge shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 8 ounceegg noodles
- 6 clovesgarlic
- 3 tablespoonbutter
- 1 cupchicken broth
- 1lemon
- ·kosher salt
- ·black pepper
- ·fresh parsley
Prep

Peel and devein 1 pound large shrimp if not already done.

Mince 6 cloves garlic.

Chop a handful of fresh parsley for garnish.
Method

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add egg noodles and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes. Drain and set aside.

While noodles cook, mince the 6 garlic cloves.

Heat 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until pink and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.

Add remaining 1 tablespoon butter to the skillet. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add cooked noodles and shrimp back to the pan. Toss gently to coat, cooking for 1 minute more until heated through.

Squeeze juice of 1 lemon over the dish. Taste and adjust salt and pepper as needed. Serve immediately, topped with fresh parsley.

For subtle warmth, add 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes when you cook the garlic. For a herbaceous finish, finish with a pinch of fresh dill or a few torn basil leaves instead of parsley.
