Soy-Ginger Ground Beef with Crispy Rice

Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add ground beef and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.

Add diced onion and cook for 2 minutes until slightly softened.

Stir in minced garlic and minced ginger, cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, and 1 teaspoon brown sugar. Stir to combine.

Spice Tips
For heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a small drizzle of hot sauce to the pan after the sauce is mixed in. For deeper ginger flavor, use a full tablespoon of ginger. A splash of low-sodium soy sauce works if you prefer less salt overall.
