Chili-Lime Shrimp with Charred Broccolini
Ingredients
- 1 poundshrimp (large, peeled and deveined)
- 1 poundbroccolini
- 3 tablespoonolive oil
- 4 clovesgarlic
- ½ teaspoonred pepper flakes
- 2lime
- 2 tablespoonsoy sauce
- 1 teaspoonhoney

Mince 4 cloves garlic.

Cut 2 limes in half; set aside 1 half as a wedge for serving.

Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add broccolini in a single layer and cook without stirring for 4-5 minutes until the cut sides char. Stir, season with salt and pepper, and cook another 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp. Transfer to a plate.

Add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil to the same skillet. When hot, add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes without moving. Flip and cook another 1-2 minutes until just opaque. Transfer to the plate with broccolini.

Lower heat to medium. Add garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet and cook 30 seconds until fragrant. Whisk in soy sauce, honey, and juice of both limes. Return shrimp and broccolini to the pan and toss to coat, cooking 1 minute more.

Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve immediately, with lime wedges on the side.
Spice Tips
The heat is mild and builds gently. For a sharper kick, increase red pepper flakes to 3/4 teaspoon. For deeper spice warmth, add 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika in step 3. If you prefer a cooling note, finish with fresh cilantro or mint just before serving.
