Return shrimp to the pan. Squeeze in lemon juice, toss to coat, and cook for 1 minute more. Taste and adjust salt and pepper.
- 06
Transfer to a serving dish, shower with parsley, and serve with thick slices of toasted crusty bread for soaking up the sauce.
Spice Tips
For deeper warmth, increase red pepper flakes to 1/2 teaspoon. A pinch of smoked paprika adds subtle depth. Fresh basil or oregano works beautifully in place of parsley if you prefer an Italian lean.
Make sure your shrimp are truly dry before searing—this ensures a golden crust. Don't overcook them; they continue to cook in the residual heat after returning to the pan. Serve immediately while the sauce is warm.
